Tanzania fly inn Safari to Serengeti 5 Days Itinerary

Arrive Arusha, meet & greet. Overnight at Ilboru Safari Lodge


Day 1 :After breakfast, drive from your lodge to Arusha Airport and fly to Serengeti National park on a flight departs around 8:30AM – Arrive Seronera around 10:20 – Meet with your driver guide and continue on game drive. The Serengeti National park covers 14,763 km² (5,700 square miles) of grassland plains and savanna as well as river trine forest and woodlands. The park lies in the north of the country, bordered to the north by the national Tanzania and Kenyan border, where it is continuous with the Masai Mara National Park reserve. Stay overnight at Exclusive Mobile Camp. B,L,D


Day 2: Full day game driving in the Serengeti plains, the endless, almost treeless grassland of the south is the most emblematic scenery of the park. This is where the wildebeest breed, as they remain in the plains from December to May. Other hoofed animals- zebra, gazelle, impala, hartebeest, topi, buffalo, waterbuck - also occur in huge numbers during the wet season. Stay the second night at Exclusive Mobile Camp or Lobo Wildlife Lodge in the northern Serengeti. B,L,D

Day 3: Morning game drive from Serengeti, then drive to the south-east of the park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The crater is one of the most amazing sights of the world to be seen anywhere. Stay overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge with fascinating view of the crater floor B,L,D

Day 4: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for crater tour. This is world heritage site, the incomparable Ngorongoro crater is the world's largest "caldera"*. Dominated by cliffs standing some 600 meters high and presenting a sheer drop down to a wide open space of some 246 square km, and you may see everything from elephant to lion, and if you’re lucky, the near-extinct black rhino, all amongst large herds of zebra and wildebeest. Afternoon exit the crater and drive outside the conservation Area. Stay overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House B,L,D

Day 5: After a leisure breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara national park for game drive, Lake Manyara is a shallow freshwater lake in Tanzania. It is said to be the "loveliest [lake] ... in Tanzania," Lake Manyara is covering 127 square miles (329 km2) of Lake Manyara National Park, the lake's alkaline waters cover approximately 89 square miles (231 km2). It is famous for a good number of baboons and birdlife, also home to herbivores such as hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs, and giraffes, giant fig trees and mahogany seen in the groundwater forest immediately around the park gates, afternoon drive back to Arusha. Stay overnight at Ilboru Safari Lodge B&B
